Kevin is stuck in a mental hospital, while identical twin (and full-time psycho Ryan) is impersonating him back in Port Charles — and in his medical practice at General Hospital while fooling everyone along the way.

Leave It To Laura
Why should Kevin bother to break out when Laura (Genie Francis) can come charging to his rescue, 60% of you are wondering. Leave it to women to make things happen, amirite?
It’s hard to remember now, when she mostly looks concerned about Lulu (Emme Rylan) and other vague matters, but Laura was quite the heroine back in her Luke (Anthony Geary) and Laura heyday.
She brought down the mob (that would be the bad mob, not the current, good mob), she saved the world from an evil weather machine, and she wore many, many wigs. It’ll be fun to see the old Laura back in action. Here she comes to save the daaaaaaaaay!
Gotta Go
Kevin will break out all on his own, another 40% feel confident. For one thing, no one in Port Charles stays locked up for long. For another, if Ryan and Carly (Laura Wright) could escape from the same hospital, how hard could it be?

He’s probably just waiting for the optimal dramatic moment, when he can burst into a crowded room, and everyone can be appropriately shocked. And then he and Laura can reunite — ithout her needing to break a sweat.
Last Thoughts
There were a few write-in votes, including “dumb story,” “the dumb writers probably forgot about Kevin,” and a couple of votes for “Ryan will set up Kevin to take the blame for his murders.” That could be interesting, but Kevin needs to get out of the mental hospital, first! And, if Ava (Maura West) thinks he’s responsible…oy!
