Last week on General Hospital, Sonny had all sorts of travel plans for himself and Carly, when she dropped a bombshell – the blonde and beautiful grandma is pregnant! She even had a long and complicated metaphor about how life is like pregnancy – except without the part where the father of your baby shoots you in the head while you’re in labor.
We all know how Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) are all about their family. Even if Sonny didn’t know about his oldest son, Dante, for years (and shot him in the chest moments before learning the truth).
And, even if Carly lied about Michael’s (Chad Duell) paternity for months, then Sonny forced AJ to give up his parental rights by hanging him on a meat hook. And, then there was Morgan, who was born during the aforementioned head shooting incident.
Plus, Joss (Eden McCoy) and Avery, who have other parents Sonny and Carly do their best to forget about.
OMG! We almost forgot Kristina. Yes, poor Kristina. No wonder she has so many issues.

Morgan was the only child related biologically to Sonny and Carly — and he’s (presumed) dead, which is why 55% of the audience is super excited about this opportunity for a do-over.

Sure, Morgan died due to his dad’s mob ties, but why should that stop them. Sonny loves his family. He would do anything for them. Except leave the life of crime behind. So he totes deserves this miracle.

And let’s talk about Carly’s age. How did she even get pregnant in the first place? (OK, she thought she was menopausal despite not yet missing a period. Carly needs school.)
