Port Charles Needs a New Top Cop! Who Should It Be?

It’s been a while since the PCPD has been able to solve a crime without some outside help on General Hospital.

Now that Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) plans to resign, the cop shop clearly needs some new blood–or even old blood as the case may be. Soap Hub asked who you think the department should hire next and your top choice wasn’t even close.

Able Anna
Out of about 3,000 votes, 69% of you know Anna (Finola Hughes) is the woman for the job. Even if she doesn’t become commissioner again, she needs to work for the PCPD in a capacity outside the DA’s office. She was back in town one day and had the entire serial killer mystery solved before Jordan could even blink. Think how many lives would have been saved if she’d been around all along. We’d still have our beloved Sabrina (Teresa Castillo).

Cunning Curtis
Coming in second with 30% of the vote is Curtis (Donnell Turner). He’s been a cop before, has the smarts for the job, and he definitely has the stamina and attitude. Sure, he screwed up in the past, but he was also on drugs. Now that he’s cleaned up his life, he’s ready for more action–and we’re ready to see more of him.

Ample Andre
The final 1% went to Curtis’s sometime-rival, Andre (Anthony Montogomery). The GH shrink already has experience solving crimes with the WSB and managed to figure out Carlos (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) and Sabrina took off to Nova Scotia this winter. Give him some more time, and he can become the resident police psychiatrist, getting in the heads of all the mad mobsters in town.

GH airs weekdays on ABC. Share your thoughts, leave a comment in the section below. Win exclusive member-only General Hospital prizes, and more: sign up here!
