Who Has Been Sonny’s Greatest Rock on General Hospital?

Since the death of his son Morgan on General Hospital, Sonny has been unraveling.

He’s been mixing booze and his bipolar meds, a dangerous combination. Knowing that he likely caused Morgan’s demise has been too much for Sonny (Maurice Benard) to bear. Unfortunately, Carly has walked out on her husband, unable to look at him without seeing the man who killed her son. It’s left Sonny’s friends to look out for him and, hopefully, save him from himself.

Jason
The bulk of fans, 52% of you, believe Jason (Billy Miller) has been the best to Sonny since the fatal car bombing that claimed Morgan’s life. He’s been by Sonny’s side supporting him and encouraging him to try to move on from the horrible tragedy. His steadfast friendship has been the one constant Sonny can count on.

Alexis
Some 38% of fans feel Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has played the most crucial role in helping Sonny. She reached out to her ex in his hour of need. She listened as he confided his heartbreak and guilt. She didn’t judge him or chastise him for what happened to Morgan. Instead, she solely offered him love and comfort.

Robin
Longtime friend Robin (Kimberly McCullough) traveled all the way from California to Port Charles to be there for Sonny. That’s why 10% of you feel she’s been his top supportive friend. She instinctively knew Sonny needed her and found him on the bridge, gun in hand and contemplating taking his own life. She challenged him to accept what happened and get through this horrible crisis, and somehow reached him.
