The Davis women have been wandering around General Hospital for months, each looking for something interesting to do. Sure, there’s a newspaper to run, bad guys to prosecute, coffee to serve, and questions to ask. But those aren’t stories. Those are chances to recap other people’s adventures. Which woman should be the front burner come 2023?
With Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) presumed dead yet again, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is at loose ends. She’s moved in with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). So, that’s a thing. But are they ever going to have any problems? Or any…anything? A scant 2% would still like to know.
Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) is Alexis Davis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) overachiever. She’s a successful attorney, she’s in a successful relationship. Her hair looks great. That’s…great. But it’s not interesting. And 6% of you would prefer interesting.
Alexis has been to prison. She lost her license to practice law. Now she runs a newspaper. And she periodically flirts with Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison). Alexis thinks she knows better than everyone about everything, but 8% of the audience would rather she try to prove it and even fail than just continue to be all talk and no action.
Kristina Davis Corinthos (Lexi Ainsworth) is still trying to find herself. Alexis wishes her daughter would speed up that process. Kristina enjoys yelling at Alexis about that. This is at least the beginning of a story, 33% concede, but it needs something more. Maybe not another cult. Maybe not another dead-end relationship. Maybe Ethan Lovett should come back to Port Charles.
And then there are the 51% of voters who refuse to choose. You want all the women doing all the things all of the time. Alexis and her girl-power brood should be kicking ass and taking names. Otherwise, we’re not really sure why they’re still around.
