Sure, love makes the world go round, but General Hospital knows that it’s the friendships that keep us bolstered in between. Some of the best relationships in Port Charles are pals. Which one is your favorite pairing?
We love Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), 40% of the audience cheers. For one thing, Sam may be one of the few people who understands what Spinelli means when he says…whatever it is he says. And Spinelli is one of the few people who was as obsessed with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) as Sam was. (Naturally, Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] hold the world record for that, but she is in a whole category of her own.)
In other words, they get each other. And that’s enough to make them BFFs for life.
Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Willow Tait (Katelyn McMullen) have both been to hell and back. Nothing will ever be worse than losing their respective children, but they also bonded over the time Sasha pretended to sleep with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) so that Willow would marry Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and get custody of Wiley. Who else can say their friendship is based on that, 33% of you challenge?
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) trusted Book Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) to not only pretend to be her baby’s mother while Maxie was claiming she didn’t know where the child was, but she also trusted Brook Lynn to give little Bailey Louise back once the scam was over. If that’s not friendship, then 18% of fans don’t know what is!
And then there are Curtis Ashford (Donell Turner) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who a last place 9% love, but the rest are a little confused about. Still, if love is love, then friendship is friendship. If they get what they need from each other, who are we to quibble?
