When Liesl first sees Scott, she’ll likely be overwhelmed with emotion. She’ll have forgotten being mad at him and only remember how thrilled she is to see him. That may last a few minutes. On the other hand, 70% bet that almost dying will remind Liesl of what’s really important. Scott is the first person who has ever truly loved her, not just used her to get something else he wanted. That doesn’t happen that often to anyone, much less to her. She’ll forgive Scott. Even if she’ll never fully forget
