Diane Miller shared one conversation with Robert Scorpio while she was laid up at General Hospital. And now she’s decided she’s in love with him – and is devastated to see Robert squiring his ex-wife, Holly Sutton, around town.
We’re a little confused about where all these feelings came from. Did The Hooker hit her on the head, too, after they stabbed her? But if Diane is going all in on this sudden crush of hers, then we’ve got to ask: Should she fight to get her man?
Robert (Tristan Rogers) is destined to get his heart broken once Holly’s (Emma Samms) secret comes out, an even 50% of the audience reminds, and Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) should totally be there to pick up the pieces. Sure, Robert is the District Attorney, and Diane’s reason for living is to make sure killers, kidnappers, and blackmailers are free to walk the streets. But maybe Robert will get him on the head too sometime soon, and forget all of his morals and ethics. It’ll be smooth sailing from then on!
Sure, Holly will break Robert’s heart – again – but Diane shouldn’t try making her move until that story has played out, 36% of the fans advised. Let him have his fun, then let him lick his wounds, and only then should you swoop in to offer yourself as an alternative. Maybe Robert will even be able to overlook your professional quirks. After all, he’s forgiven Holly – and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) – for even greater crimes.
Holly will always be the love of Robert’s life, 14% insist. And Anna is the mother of his daughter. But if Diane doesn’t mind being runner-up, then there’s nothing to lose. Of course, Diane is used to a more active sort of man. Robert may be too sedate for her. As soon as she recovers from her stabbing, she might start itching for more action!
