When given the choice between getting treatment for her cancer immediately or waiting until she reached her second trimester, Willow Tait decided to put her baby first and put off receiving therapy — not to mention telling her baby’s father on General Hospital. Did she make the right call?
General Hospital Polling: Vote Early, Vote Often
We understand where Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) is coming from, 58% would be with her every step of the way…except for the part where she didn’t give Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) any vote in the matter. It’s his baby, and they’re supposed to be partners. So shouldn’t partners be making such important decisions together? We support you, Willow, but we wish you were more open with your family.
GH Mom’s the Word
So, Willow thinks it would be better for Wiley and the new baby to have no mother? Because that’s what she’s setting them up for here, 34% of you would like to point out. If Willow carries the baby to term, delivers the baby, then dies…who will this benefit exactly? We suspect if Michael were given a vote, he’d prefer to have his Willow and his son happy and whole rather than a family where Michael is a single parent of two small children. He’s already not sure where Wiley is most of the time. How will he ever keep track of two? Good thing Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) has plenty of room at the big house!
Willow Tait: Best Baby
About 8% of the audience is behind Willow all the way. She did what any good mother does, she put her unborn child’s needs ahead of herself. Now her baby has a chance to survive along with Willow. Self-sacrifice is the only way to go. Especially for a masochist like Willow.
