Strong female attorneys rule on General Hospital, and they sure keep life interesting.
Whether they’re defending alleged mobsters or fighting controversial custody battles, the town’s lovely legal eagles know how to get the job done. Former partners Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) and Alexis have long been the town’s female top guns. Recently, they welcomed Nora into the mix, when she took on Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) case in the fight for young Charlotte. Which of the three women would you rank as the best lawyer? Over 5,000 General Hospital fans cast votes on the subject. See who won by a landslide.
Diane
Have a serious legal dilemma? Been arrested? Diane’s the woman to solve your problem — and make sure you get set free, according to 84% of you. She’s brainy and beautiful, and rarely loses a case. Heck, she’s been getting Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Jason (Billy Miller) off for various crimes for years.
Nora
Llanview transplant Nora (Hillary B. Smith) landed 8% of your votes. You remember her as a stellar attorney on One Life to Live; always calm, cool and collected. And she hasn’t disappointed you since she showed up in Port Charles. Diane is going to have her work cut out for her going head-to-head with Nora in the battle for Charlotte.
Alexis
She may have temporarily lost her law license, but 7% of you still feel Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is the top female litigator in PC. Not only is she smart and tenacious, but she’s always up to fight for a good cause. Plus, Alexis has experience on her side. She’s been practicing law on GH for over 20 years. It’s hard to compete with that.
