General Hospital is known for its splashy weddings and dramatic receptions.
But Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) decided to beat the rush so their friends planned a memorable bachelor/bachelorette party.
It involved locking people up in two separate rooms and forcing them to try and escape. Fun! And it IS an actual real-life thing now.
And, oh, not at all Post Traumatic Stress Disorder-causing for the already pretty terrorized citizens of Port Charles.
Well, they seem to have survived unscathed. But what about the rest of you? Did the escape room creep you out? Here’s how over 3,000 victims responded.
Flashback Freak Out
How many of the escape room participants have been kidnapped and held hostage in the past? Anna (Finola Hughes), Lulu (Emme Rylan), Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Maxie (Kirsten Storms), Molly (Haley Pullos), and Valerie (Brytni Sarpi) fit the bill. So that would be…everybody.
And how many have been tormented by Cassadines? Alexis, Lulu, Anna. So that would be…almost everybody. So, who thought it would be a good idea to bring back all those painful memories in a Cassadine-themed escape room.
Meanwhile, Peter (Wes Ramsey) in a serial killer room…um, think who raised him. Not to mention Nina (Michelle Stafford) invited him after she already held him hostage earlier this year. They may have all escaped unscathed, but 61% of you were traumatized for life!
That Which Does Not Kill Me
The escape room was pretend, 39% of the audience dismisses. You’ve lived through worse alongside your favorite characters.
You spent an entire (sweeps) month trapped at the hotel with Mr. Craig and his hostages. And then there was the other (sweeps) month at the masquerade in Wyndemere, which ended with Emily dead.
Parallel escape rooms are child’s play. You’re tougher than that. And so are the party-goers of Port Charles.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
