As a pregnant Maxie says good-bye to her husband on General Hospital (GH), his family, not to mention the fans, take heart in the fact that a part of Nathan will live on in the child she’s carrying.
But will it be a little boy or a little girl? Over 11,000 of you spun the color wheel!
Y Not?
It’s a boy, predict 84% of you! A little mini-Nathan (Ryan Paevey) that Obrecht (Kathleen Gatti) can fuss over, Nina (Michelle Stafford) can want to turn into a clone of the baby brother she remembers, and Faison (Anders Hove) can try to get this hands on once he inevitably returns from the dead to wreak havoc on Port Charles, yet again.
Maxie (Kirsten Storms) will obviously face pressure to name him after Nathan, but lets consider the other possibilities. There’s good old Mac (John J. York), who raised Maxie and her sister when both their parents took off for parts unknown.
He did the same for Robin (Kimberly McCullough), but did she remember him when it came time to name her son?
No, she did not. Maybe Maxie will be a little more grateful. And then they can be Big Mac and Little Mac. How cute would that be?
Sugar And Spice and Everything Nice
It’s a girl, counter a pink-loving 15%. A boy is too obvious. And too strong of a reminder of Nathan. Georgie could use a little sister, and Maxie would go crazy with all the cute outfits she could buy.
Just as long as she doesn’t get it into her head to name her daughter after either of Nathan’s which-one-is-crazier mothers, and keeps her away from Auntie Nina, who will also likely see Maxie’s baby as the perfect little sister… for Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez). But Auntie Britt (Kelly Thibaud) is OK. She hasn’t stolen a child in years!
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
