General Hospital may be overflowing with familiar and new faces these days, but there could soon be even more.
Now that ABC has gotten the rights back to All My Children and One Life to Live from Prospect Park, which briefly produced the shows online in 2013, could there be room for some of your favorites to make the move to Port Charles (even if they might be confused by how much a few people look like people they used to know — but answering to different names)? Close to 7,000 of you had this to say about it.
Come Home, All Is Forgiven
ABC may not have made up their minds yet, but 67% of fans most certainly have. They’d love to see some Pine Valley and Llanview faces pop back up on their screens.
They’re looking forward to Blair (Kassie DePaiva) looking at Franco (Roger Howarth) funny — then figuring out how much the two have in common.
What about Bianca (Eden Reigel) freaking out over Julian (William deVry) — though not for the reasons everyone else is, and PV folks wondering how their sweet Nico could look so much like moody mobster Sonny (Maurice Benard)?
Heck, No, Please Don’t Go
The above scenario, however, would prove too confusing for 18% of you. You prefer to avoid your worlds colliding, thank you very much. Plus, the PC canvas is stuffed to the rafters as it is.
You already don’t see your faves often enough — adding more new faces (if you didn’t watch AMC or OLTL, they’re new to you) would only mean less airtime for everybody.
Play It By Ear
Finally, a slightly smaller number, 15%, are unsure about the matter. It all comes down to story, and while the idea of Viki (Erika Slezak) slapping down Carly (Laura Wright) or Tad (Michael E. Knight) romancing Monica (Leslie Charleson) is intriguing, maybe it’s best left to fan fiction for now….
