Peter Principal: Which Leading Lady Should He Date On General Hospital?

General Hospital’s Peter may not be a man of principle, but one’s principal function as a soap opera character is to be in a romance.

Just because Peter (Wes Ramsey) is a criminal lying liar who lies doesn’t mean he’s given up his right to be loved. Not in Port Charles, anyway. Right, Jason (Steve Burton)? Right, Julian (William DeVry)? Right, Sonny (Maurice Benard)?

So who is the right woman for Peter? Over 7,000 fans weighed in.

To the Maxie
So what if he was somewhat responsible for Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) death? Is that a valid reason for Maxie (Kirsten Storms) not to fall for Peter, 88% of you want to know.

You know she was kind of drawn to him even before Nathan died. And after. Now, as they spend more and more time together, she’s bound to notice how cute he is, how considerate he is, how not homicidal at the moment he is.

Besides, Peter has a sad childhood, “my daddy didn’t love me and my mommy gave me away” story. What woman can resist one of those?

Maxie’s mommy abandoned her for years at a time and her biological daddy is, quite frankly, a deadbeat. They’re a match made in heaven! Even if that means putting Mac (John J. York) through hell!

A Lulu Of a Pair!
A much smaller 12% of the audience would like to see Peter with Lulu (Emme Rylan), especially now that Dante has wandered off into hero-land. Peter, at least, didn’t kill Lulu’s husband. Yet. That we know of.

Sure, she and Maxie are friends, and it should be sisters before misters, but Lulu and Maxie have never been too good at that. And Dante was always too good for Lulu. She needs a bad boy who will treat her like an afterthought…the way her daddy did.
