Anna finally came home to Port Charles, and for a few minutes, General Hospital let it look almost peaceful. Mac, Felicia, Emma, and Gio were there, the broken mug was replaced, and everyone tried to wrap her return in family instead of fear. Then the house emptied, Dante came by with bad news, and Peter showed up again, not as a living threat, but as the voice pushing Anna toward revenge.

Key Takeaways

  • Anna came home to a warm family welcome after months away.
  • She quickly needed time alone after seeing Mac, Felicia, Emma, and Gio.
  • Dante told Anna that Cassius died and had been working with Sidwell.
  • Anna blamed herself for being fooled by Cassius.
  • Peter appeared again as the dangerous voice pushing Anna toward revenge, feeding her guilt, anger, and pain.

Anna Came Home Fragile

Felicia (Kristina Wagner) brought Anna (Finola Hughes) home after months away, and the welcome was warm without pretending things were normal. Mac (John J. York), Gio (Giovanni Mazza), and Emma (Braedyn Bruner) filled her in on small disasters, including the cute pooch Fizz chewing up an end table and Anna’s favorite mug getting broken. Emma made her a new one, which was probably the healthiest thing anyone handed Anna all week.

Still, Anna needed privacy almost as soon as she got home. She sent Gio and Emma to the pool, then asked Mac and Felicia to go see James (Gary James Fuller), who would have questions about Cassius (Ryan Paevey). That was fair, but it also left Anna alone with the apartment, her thoughts, and whatever damage the last few months had left behind.

Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) visit did not help. He told Anna that Cassius died in the shootout that also took out Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), and that Cassius had been working with Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Anna blamed herself for being fooled, while Dante reminded her they all wanted Nathan to be alive.

Peter Became the Poison

That’s when Peter (Wes Ramsey) appeared again, and that is the real problem. He is not standing in front of Anna as flesh and blood, plotting another scheme with that smug little villain grin. He is inside the part of her mind that already feels guilty, angry, and betrayed.

Peter told Anna it was good to be home and that she could finally get her revenge. That matters more than any physical return would right now. Alive, Peter was dangerous because he could act. Dead, he may be worse because he can push Anna to act for him.

Anna’s recovery was already fragile before she left France. Now she’s back in Port Charles, surrounded by unfinished pain, Cassius’ betrayal, and the echo of Peter using her worst feelings as a steering wheel. The danger is not that Peter came back. The danger is that Anna may start listening to him.
