Does The General Hospital Summer Of Peter And Nelle Need To End?

Fans are calling it General Hospital’s (GH) Summer of Peter and Nelle.

If Nelle (Chloe Lanier) wasn’t looking shifty-eyed and scheming (and winning an Emmy for it) against Carly (Laura Wright) to snare Michael (Chad Duell), then Peter (Wes Ramsey) was scheming and looking shifty-eyed – and getting tied up to a bed for his trouble.

And when Nelle and Peter weren’t on-screen, other characters like Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Anna (Finola Hughes) were talking about them.

So when is enough – enough? Over 6,000 viewers weighed in on whether the summer of Peter and Nelle needs to end. Pronto!

It’s not even close. 95% of you are dying for the day when neither Peter nor Nelle are hogging air-time. With Lanier leaving, you are actively praying for Nelle’s death. Because at least then everyone can move on.

If Nelle leaves town – with or without her baby – you’re afraid the conversation about her will just continue ad infinitum.

What do you think? Post a comment!

On the other hand, if Peter dies while being held by Liesel (Kathleen Gatti) and Nina (Michelle Stafford), you fear Anna going on and on about it.

In this case, it would be better if he fled town, and we could all pretend this story never happened. Robin (Kimberly McCullough) will remain Anna’s only child.

Keep It Going
No, a tiny 4% dissent. We want Nelle and Peter to stick around, causing more trouble. Carly deserves everything her son’s baby mama can dish out. And Faison’s (Anders Hove) son sticking around is bound to upset multiple Port Charles residents.

He can team up with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), and pick things up where they left off with Maxie (Kirsten Storms). Can you imagine the drama if Peter ends up playing Daddy to Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) son? Besides, who believes that Faison is really and truly dead….

General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
