It feels like forever ago when we learned that Patient 6 was actually Jason Morgan on General Hospital, and Peter even teased us about patients 1-5 — but what happened to that?
While it would seem that Drew (Billy Miller) must be Patient 5 if Jason (Steve Burton) is Patient 6, we don’t know that for sure.
But, do fans still care about this medical mystery or should the show just move forward? Over 10,000 decided to play doctor — and head writer!
Building A Mystery
Heck yes, you want to know, say 77% of you! While there are two other sets of twins on the show — Anna (Finola Hughes) and Alex and also Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) and Kevin — that doesn’t mean they are necessarily those patients and you’re tired of filling in the blanks yourself!
You want to know just what the show’s writers had in mind and you’re wishing they’d bring back Andre (Anthony Montgomery) to explain it all.
It was his project after all, and he will be needed should Drew ever decide to make use of that flash drive full of memories. Kill two birds with one doctor!
Enough Is Enough
For the other 23%, this story was a dud from soup to nuts. It’s ridiculous and the sooner everyone forgets that there were ever six patients in some mind experiments that made no sense anyway, the better.
It’s time to concentrate on stories that need exploring like having Michael (Chad Duell) finally learn the truth about what Nelle (Chloe Lanier) did and get his son back.
Or, having Nina (Michelle Stafford) finally figure out what Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) did to her!
But even more important — Laura (Genie Francis) needs to learn the truth about Kevin and get him back home with her where he belongs. These are the stories the show needs to do to move forward — the mystery patients won’t do anything to get GH back on track.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
