Paevey and Storms Dish Co-Stars, Upcoming Story in Live Chat

She’s been back at General Hospital taping new scenes, and Kirsten Storms (Maxie) and Ryan Paevey (Nathan) promoted this fact during their Facebook Live Q&A chat today, answering their fans’ burning questions about the show.

From the opening moments, it was obvious that these two actors get along great, and fun camaraderie is just one reason the relationship between their two characters is so appealing. According to Storms, you’ll see her back on air the week of July 24.

Fans asked questions ranging from who is the biggest prankster on set (Kin Shriner) to how Peavey’s wrists are after his motorcycle accident (both are “pretty jacked up”).

One fan asked which family on the show is their favorite (not counting the one they are a part of), and Storms happily answered that the “Corinthos family is really dope and complicated.”

Paevey then chimed in that, “I might be a member of the Cassadine family.” It was great to see that someone still remembers that seemingly dropped story point. Here’s hoping that nugget is picked back up shortly.

Family was a recurring thread, as another person asked if they miss Mac (John J. York) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner).

Storms happily reported that they’ve shot some great scenes together since her return. Paevey added, “It involves a park, so keep an eye out.”

But the most fun may have been when Emme Rylan was brought up. Both actors had a fun time talking about how the poor actress kept getting larger as her due date drew closer (she gave birth to her baby girl earlier this week).

Storms stayed with her BFF during the final days of her pregnancy. “She got bigger by the day,” she shared. Then, the infamous Instagram videos of the two lip-synching to 50 Cent were mentioned, and Storms whipped out her phone to show them to a laughing Paevey.

It turns out that pulling over in a random neighborhood when they were on their way to her doctor’s appointment was Rylan’s idea. “I think she was trying to dance the baby out,” she laughed.

Of course, the two addressed the biggest GH news in ages — Steve Burton’s return, with Storms insisting how great he was to work with in the past (Paevey has never worked with him), and both actors shared they’re really hoping for the chance to work with him. Guess we’ll have to keep watching to see if they get their wish.
