The Oscar Mystery: So, Just Who Are His Parents on General Hospital?

It seems like Oscar just came out of nowhere on General Hospital (GH) as a random sweet young man who likes Josslyn. While in real life, teen girls meet random teen boys at school, on soaps, if there’s a teen boy hanging around, he usually has a connection to someone else on the canvas.

With GH making a big deal about the fact that Oscar (Garren Stitt) keeps avoiding talk of his mom and never wants anyone to contact her, things seem off. Now, he’s revealed he doesn’t even know who his father is and the wheels have started turning.

Soap Hub asked if you think Oscar’s parents are people we know and nearly 6,000 of you had something to say.

Of course, at least one of Oscar’s folks are connected to the canvas, say a whopping 88% of you and you’re betting it’s his dad, since he doesn’t know him and someone on GH needs an insta-son who is still alive.

This is unlike Duke, who got an intsa-son just months after he perished. Hey, maybe his dad is Insta-Son Father Doctor Griffin (Matt Cohen). We know he strayed from the cloth with Claudette. How do we know there weren’t others–or what he did before he entered the priesthood?

Imagine, Griffin hooks up with Ava (Maura West) and his kid is Sonny’s stepdaughter’s boyfriend. How fun for all!

Another 9% of you are not sure. It would make for interesting story, but maybe he is just some random kid and GH will introduce new adult characters as his parents. However, some of you wonder if Parker (Ashley Jones) could be his mom.

He’s new to town, she’s new to town, and just because she never mentioned a kid, it doesn’t mean she doesn’t have one. Just one more interesting Corinthos family dynamic. Hmmm…

Then, there is the 2% who are positive we’re getting some new adults to contend with in Port Charles, and they are Oscar’s parents for sure.
