One Life to Live fans get ready. You’re about to get Nora Hannon Gannon Buchanan back on your screens via General Hospital.
Executive Producer Frank Valentini tweeted out the news tonight with a special video you’ll see below.
Hillary B. Smith played OLTL’s Nora from for two decades, from 1992 until the show’s demise in 2012. The legal eagle will certainly find some friendly fellow female power attorneys when we assume she’ll join Nancy Lee Grahn’s Alexis and Carolyn Hennesey’s Diane.
There’s no word yet on whether Smith’s stay in PC is for the long or short term, but we definitely can’t wait to see this familiar daytime face again.
GH typically does something special each February, calling it Fan February. In 2015, it asked fans who they’d like to see return for a limited run, and it delivered in May with an appearance by Alicia Leigh Willis as Courtney.
Last year, Valentini tweeted a very special video of him and Michael Easton meeting in a supermarket cereal aisle (staged, of course) with the producer asking Easton to return to the show. (Easton’s Silas Clay had been killed over the summer and fan outcry produced various petitions. By the end of the month, the actor appeared as Dr. Hamilton Finn.)
Watch the video now.
