None Of the Above: Will Sam Get a New Love Interest on General Hospital (GH)?

It’s hard to believe now, but General Hospital’s (GH) Sam wasn’t always bouncing blindly between Jason (Steve Burton) and Drew (Billy Miller).

She had relationships with Sonny (Maurice Benard), Jax (Ingo Rademacher), Ric (Rick Hearst), Lucky (Greg Vaughan), Silas (Michael Easton), and Patrick (Jason Thompson).

The point is, those two long-lost twin brothers aren’t the only game in town. The woman has options. Would you like to see Sam (Kelly Monaco) hook up with someone totally new? Here’s what over 12,000 viewers said:

Just Jason
Nope, 74% of you say, it’s Jason or nothing. Those two are soulmates. Death couldn’t keep them apart. Jason refusing to put Sam ahead of the mob couldn’t keep them apart. His rejecting Danny couldn’t do it. So, obviously no other man could ever pull it off, either.

All of the above are why Sam should be with Drew, not Jason, a contrary 14% argue. Drew loved Danny even before he was presumed to be Jason – and after he realized he wasn’t.

Drew walked away from the mob to protect Sam and Scout. And Drew has always put Sam first. The only reason they’re not together now is because Sam is confused. But meeting a new man won’t change the fact that Drew is still the best man for Sam.

Out With the Old, In With the….
Someone new, please! That’s what 11% of the audience is begging for after being forced to endure Sam unable to make up her mind between Jason and Drew. You don’t know how much more you can take.

A new man will put you out of your misery–and it might be good for the perpetually misty-eyed Sam, too.
