It’s been a heck of a year for Sam on General Hospital (GH). She started the year pregnant, ended up giving birth in the snow at the bottom of a bridge and then falling into a coma. But really, that was NOTHING!
Of course, Sam (Kelly Monaco) recovered from the horrible childbirth, but then she started acting crazy, hallucinating and shot Sonny (Maurice Benard). Then she ended up in a coma again–this time due to toxoplasmosis, which she contracted at the bottom of that bridge. (Never go there again, Sam.)
After that, she had to deal with Jason (Billy Miller) in a coma for a month after he took a bullet for her. And just when things seemed to be working out, the OTHER Jason (Steve Burton), the one with the ORIGINAL FACE, showed up and rescued her from the river, so of course she ended up in the hospital again.
Tropical Paradise Time!
And now she doesn’t know what to do–but we do! Sam, TAKE A VACATION, with no kids, no men, no Jasons, no stress, say 70% of the 7,000 people who responded to Soap Hub’s poll.
Sometimes you just need a break, and we can think of nobody who needs one more than Sam. Go lay on the beach, sip a margarita, get your nails done, have your hair braided–YOU EARNED IT!

Stay Home!
However, another 30% of you say Sam should stay home and bask in the love of two wonderful men. How could a woman get so lucky to have not one, but TWO Jason Morgans in love with her? It’s a dream come true, right?
Plus, a mom is a mom and Sam needs to watch those kids every once in a while. She also just bought a media company, so now is no time to take a break. Sam, we need you in Port Charles, and so do the Jasons.
But, we understand if you’re dreaming of island sunsets and chaise lounges. You deserve it, but there’s a story to tell, so you can’t leave just yet.
