After falling off a balcony in December, faking a fall out the window in May, and taking a real tumble out the window in July, General Hospital’s Nikolas will finally be back in his true form soon.
According to Soap Central, Tyler Christopher announced his return to the soap at his fan club event today after speculation that he was gone for good.
The actor took a leave of absence in May for personal reasons, soon after winning the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. The departure occurred amid speculation that Christopher was in the middle of prolonged contract negotiations.
Actor Nick Stabile took Christopher’s place for about a month, but was last seen on screen on July 19.
Christopher is scheduled to return to the set in September, so it will be a while before we see him back in Port Charles.
