Nicolas Bechtel is best known for playing Spencer Cassadine on General Hospital, but the young actor has appeared on other shows over the years such as Days of Our Lives as Josh, Baby Daddy, Girl Meets World, Red Band Society, and Grey’s Anatomy.
Along with his work in television, Bechtel also has a future as a host. From when he started acting to playing a young Kardashian, here are five fast facts about the on-again/off-again GH actor.
In The Beginning
Bechtel was born on February 15 in Fontana, California. He started acting professionally when he was just 7 years old and got the role as Spencer Cassadine on General Hospital when he was 8.
Host With the Most
Along with working in television, Bechtel is also talented with a microphone in his hand. In fact, he was the Kid Correspondent for Nintendo of America, Inc. at the E3 event in 2013, which is essentially an electronic entertainment expo.
Future Ryan Seacrest?
Following his gig with Nintendo, Bechtel was hired by Extra to be a special correspondent and interview celebrities on the red carpet. He has since interviewed stars such as Chris Pratt, Blake Shelton, Anna Kendrick, Fifth Harmony, Adam Levine, Rebel Wilson, and many others.
A Few Of His Favorite Things
While he’s clearly a great performer, there are a few things Bechtel loves besides acting. His favorite movie is Toy Story, while his favorite color is red, and his favorite food is anything Italian.
A Young Kardashian
Along with his work on soaps and other television shows — such as Grey’s Anatomy and Good Luck Charlie — he played a young Rob Kardashian in the series American Crime Story: The People vs. OJ Simpson. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
