Back To Business As Usual

In an Instagram share, Rylan revealed he has a new acting gig. Rylan posted five photos from her latest job.

A couple of pictures showed her in costume, while others featured her getting all dolled up for the role. In her caption, Rylan revealed she plays Justin Long’s wife in a new film that also stars New Girl’s Lamorne Morris.

Rylan didn’t give any other details, but that didn’t stop fans from flooding her comments section with love and support.

“So happy to see you still acting!!!! Miss you on GH! Best LuLu ever,” stated one fan.

A different fan shared, “I can’t wait to see it!! You look beautiful!!” while another fan wrote, “So cool! You look so cute next to him in that pic. Can’t wait to see it!”

Rylan spent years working on soaps. The actress got her start on Guiding Light as Lizzie Spaulding. When the CBS soap ended, she went on to play Abby Newman on Y&R.

Most recently, Rylan was Lulu Spencer on GH, but she hasn’t been on the show since 2020. She spoke out after Lulu (Alexis Havins) was recast in 2024, admitting she was disappointed not to be asked back to the role.

The news of her latest acting gig comes hot on the heels of another venture Rylan has begun. Rylan and her GH bestie, Kirsten Storms (Maxie), have turned their love of knitting into a new collaboration.
