General Hospital star William Lipton just shared details on his newest project, which holds a very special place in his heart. Lipton stepped away from GH to focus on college and music, but he recently stepped back into the acting world for an important role.
Pal’s Directorial Debut
Recently, Lipton shared the details on Instagram. He gushed, “I had the incredible privilege of working on my dear friend’s directorial debut!!!”
Lipton continued, “So immensely grateful to have had this experience with such talented individuals in front and behind the camera. Special shoutout to [Lighthouse Films] for being so awesome.” The GH star added, “So proud of u li and can’t wait for everyone to see this beautiful project.”

Lipton’s photos in his post were all taken while filming this new project.
The “dear friend” of Lipton’s is Lilah Pate, who also posted about the project on her Instagram. “Best experience of my artistic life!! I had the HONOR of directing my first short film, which I wrote and funded myself. Forever grateful to everyone who helped bring this vision to life. Can’t wait to share it with you all soon!’
Lipton and Pate, who previously appeared in Outer Banks and The Summer I Turned Pretty, also pair on a short pre-production series titled “The Runarounds.” According to IMDb, the series is about members of a high school band who set their sights on success in the music industry after graduation.
Lipton’s fans are eager to see his upcoming projects and made it clear they miss seeing him on GH.
“Sounds and looks amazing. I’m glad you enjoyed it. Miss you on GH. It was nice to see Cam for a visit,” wrote one fan.
Pate commented, “Thank you for believing in me” with a teary-eyed emoji on Lipton’s post. She separately commented, “Could not be more grateful for you.”
