Will Jason Become Less Like Sonny And More Like A Quartermaine On General Hospital?

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Jason Quartermaine on General Hospital. He suffered a brain injury after a car crash and lost his memory. He has been Jason Morgan ever since. Will that change?

The More Things Change

Jason (Steve Burton) was Alan (Stuart Damon) and Monica’s (Leslie Charleson) golden boy. He was smart, personable, and planning to be a doctor like his parents. Jason was never the same after the car accident caused by his brother A.J. (Saen Kanan). He changed his last name to Morgan, which was his grandmother Lila’s (Anna Lee) maiden name, and left the Quartermaines. Instead of med school, he became Sonny’s enforcer.

The love that both his grandmother and his mother had for him never disappeared, and his bond with them remained. This was not the same for the rest of the Q’s. They did not approve of his new personality or career choice, and the family had nothing to do with him.

Now the mob enforcer is back living with the family and they have been surprisingly accepting. Will Jason soften towards the Quartermaines? (Here are the times Jason has cried wolf.)

The More They Stay The Same

The once favorite son has returned home only to live with his son Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) after Sam (Kelly Monaco) passed away. Jason seems more comfortable than expected living at the Qs. He is bonding with Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), and something may even be brewing between the two of them. Even his conversations with Ned (Wally Kurth) and Tracy (Jane Elliott) were very pleasant.

It might be time for Jason to stop being Sonny’s sidekick. He is now a single dad to Danny and may need to be more responsible.

Spoilers suggest that the family will want his help to take down the not-so-favorite son, Drew (Cameron Mathison). Jason may be happy to join forces with them after what his twin did to Michael (Chad Duell). He probably won’t officially change his name to become a Quartermaine again, but Jason is inching his way back into the fold.

Do you think Jason will rejoin the Q clan? Let us know in the comments.
