Several Port Charles citizens are living in their self-made delusional worlds or are just coming out of them. In the Friday, August 29 episode of General Hospital, it was almost difficult to choose who was suffering from it the most. Although, having said that, we’re going to give the title to Willow.

Deluded in Port Charles

Certain characters displayed a little bit of delusion—nothing that would tank their lives, but enough to question what they were doing.

Chase

What made Chase (Josh Swickard) think he could approach Judge Heran (Tessa Auberjonois) and advocate for Willow (Katelyn MacMullen)? He knew better. And he isn’t privy to everything going on in Willow’s world. If he knew what she did to Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Daisy, he would sing a different tune. Plus, it looks like he’s about to find out about Willow wanting to get back with Drew (Cameron Mathison) to win her kids back. Let’s hope he is as horrified by this as Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) was.

Stella

Stella (Vernee Watson) thankfully came out of her bubble and realized she didn’t take things seriously enough. With Alexis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) help, she doesn’t have to sit in prison waiting for a trial to happen. Curtis (Donnell Turner) is bailing her out. She also knows that Curtis is so done with Drew that not even Jordan can talk her ex off the ledge.

Meanwhile, things became clear for Kai, while Portia confessed to Trina but created a whole new secret.

Kai

Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) is finally Team Ashford now that he has heard for himself what kind of person Drew Cain is. He overheard Drew talk to Curtis about being the one to get Stella in trouble. And he heard the man’s lack of remorse for messing with the woman who helped Kai after his surgery. And then Drew lied right to his face. Thankfully, Kai let Drew think he was still Team Congressman Cutthroat. And now he’s about to hitch his wagon to Trina (Tabyana Ali).

Portia

Portia (Brook Kerr) seems to realize that her marriage is over. She also came clean with Trina, and she feels better for it. On top of that, she hasn’t told Trina everything. That she and Nina (Cynthia Watros) drugged Drew and were responsible for his night of debauchery at The Savoy. In addition, she now has another secret. Yes, she figures her marriage is over, but just because he took off the ring doesn’t mean her marriage is officially dunzo. She slept with Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) in her office at the hospital. And he works for her. Let’s see if she keeps this a secret.

Yet for others, they have passed the point of no return.

Drew

Drew continues to flit around PC, causing chaos, and he doesn’t think anyone will fight back? That he is smarter and more powerful than everybody else? He’s in for a huge downfall. It’s just a matter of when and where. And he thinks every bad thing he’s doing is justified.

Willow

Finally, what was going on with Willow? She decided to sell her soul to get her kids back. It doesn’t matter that Drew hurt her chances to keep her kids. It doesn’t matter that he did awful things like keep her from seeing Michael (Rory Gibson) in Baden-Baden. She is impressed with his power, and now she wants to wield that power to save her kids. And at this point, she wants to hurt Michael like she perceives he’s hurt her. Her whole world is one big delusion right now.
