Erika Slezak is doing a terrific job as Monica’s long-lost sister, Ronnie on General Hospital. The tea party was so much fun to watch, especially after Ronnie got drunk. Did someone spike her drink? If so, who?
Key Takeaways
- Martin spiked the drink. He looked very guilty and was clearly up to something.
- Tracy spiked the drink. She doesn’t trust Monica’s sister and may have wanted the family to see the “real Ronnie”.
- Ronnie spiked the drink. She was uncomfortable at the party and wanted to loosen up.
Martin Is The #1 Suspect
Martin (Michael E Knight) was definitely up to something. Moments after Lulu (Alexa Havins) told her uncle about Ronnie, he rushed over to the Qs with a lame excuse about Lulu dropping her phone, which she clearly did not. It has long been thought that Martin was the one who found Monica’s (the late Leslie Charleson) little sister, to somehow get back at Tracy (Jane Elliot).
The only man at the women’s tea party was looking mighty suspicious right before Ronnie clearly became drunk and began to act inappropriately. What would Martin’s endgame be by spiking the guest of honor’s tea? All should be revealed soon because Slezak only has a short timeframe on the soap.
Tracy Has A Reason
Tracy has made it clear from day one that she doesn’t trust her sister-in-law’s sister. Odds are that she is correct, but the rest of the family has been much more accepting, which upsets the Q matriarch to no end. Tracy could have spiked the tea so that Ronnie’s true colors would be revealed. This would prove to all of Port Charles that Ronnie doesn’t belong. Even better would be if, under the influence, Monica’s sister admitted why she really came to town.
Ronnie Did It To Herself
Ronnie was clearly extremely uncomfortable at Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) tea party thrown in her honor. She was out of place and didn’t really know how to act in front of Port Charles society. Curtsying to Aztec Princess Felicia (Kristina Wagner) was laugh-out-loud fun.
Many people might take a few sips of a drink to relax a bit, but they were only serving tea at this party. Ronnie could have headed over to the bar and maybe poured a little too much alcohol into her cup. She certainly loosened up, but probably more than she intended. Drunkenly going off on Tracy was a great moment, but we really can’t wait to see the fallout.
