Here’s What’s Next for General Hospital’s Violet

Violet bid General Hospital farewell. She’s off to join her dad, Finn, in Seattle! Tears were shed. Brook Lynn cried. Tracy cried. Violet cried. It’s always sad to say goodbye. But if there is one thing we know about soaps, is that soon it will be time to say hello…with a twist!

Summer Loving

It’s October. That means we have another seven to eight months before summer of 2025. That’s plenty of time for a tiny girl like Violet (Johpielle Love) to leave the campus playing tea party…and return in June a teenager ready to party!

Yes, are we looking at a looming case of Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome (SORAS)? Being shipped out of town is usually the first step. Summertime would be the perfect season for a she thinks she’s all grown up Violet to return for a visit with Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Tracy (Jane Elliot). And she won’t be lonely.

Where My Girls At?

A newly teen Violet could get some cool new friends. Like newly teen Georgie, newly teen Scout, and newly teen Donna. All these young women have excellent reasons to be dragging around huge chips on their shoulders.

Their mothers have abandoned all of them at one time or another: Violet by Hayden (Rebecca Budig), Georgie periodically by Maxie (Kirsten Storms), Scout by Sam (Kelly Monaco) dying, and Donna by Carly (Laura Wright)…every time she has something more important to do, which is most of the time. Would you blame them for forming a squad of Port Charles mean girls?

Where the Boys Are

A posse of wild Port Charles girls deserves a new crop of boys to torture and tease. Maybe Georgie’s brother, James, could pick up a few years? Jake (Hudson West) and Danny (Asher Antonyzen) can stay the same. Rocco? Ace…yeah, probably not?

Aiden (Colin Cassidy) should stick around, too, but he will need yet another new boy to interact with. Port Charles is running low. Hey, what about Robin (Kimberly McCullough) and Patrick’s (Jason Thompson) son, Noah? We need a strong, new teen scene — and aging Violet is just the beginning!
