Soap operas are known to have their share of catfights but you’re not going to find Vanessa Marcil, beloved as Brenda on General Hospital, engaging in any real-life squabbles. At least not when it comes to Megan Fox, who was once wed to Brian Austin Green, who played David on Beverly Hills, 90210, the father of Marcil’s son Kassius.
Stronger Together
“FEMALE TRIBE- Are we really still out here saying STUPID, TRANSPARENT (jealousy) [expletive] about each other?” Marcil began her post. “Tearing each other down? Calling each other whores???? How many men do y’all know who AREN’T whores if given the chance????
“What do women do when men cheat?” queried the Daytime Emmy-winning actress. “They stay with them. If the man is rich? They will even idolize him. While you are out fighting other women, PUBLICLY tearing other women down and standing up for/dead beat men?
“Men are laughing at us and still ruling the world,” Marcil says. “They are having us do all of the heavy lifting around raising their kids AND They are Cheating on you literally or they are addicted to porn while NOT standing for you to have basic human equal rights.
“If men all stood with us? They could change the laws and make us ACTUALLY equals instantly. Pull it together and stand with other women,” the actress said. “We are still the minorities. Ask yourself-Do you give the same grace to women as you do our men? Think before you answer….and Answer honestly… @chickmafia #ImWithYouSister.”
Check out Marcil’s post below which includes some screengrabs of objectional posts that Marcil found distasteful.
Rena Sofer (Lois) weighed in on the post made by Vanessa Marcil, her pal. “Women need to learn that we are a tribe!! We are all interconnected surpassing ALL external factors!! If we don’t start supporting each other and STOP tearing each other down, then WE ALL LOSE!!!!” Sofer exclaimed.
“You are NOT a faceless voice behind a keyboard and if you choose to demolish a woman instead of holding her up then you are part of the problem!” GH’s Lois added. “WE NEED EACH OTHER NOW MORE THAN EVER!!!! #imwithyousister.”
