An Unlikely Source Talked Sense Into A Raging Carly On The June 24 General Hospital

Ever since Carly learned the truth about why Jason became an FBI informant on General Hospital, she’s been struggling with her emotions over the situation. On the June 24, 2024 episode, an unlikely source helped her figure out her next move.

A Reason To Celebrate

After John (Adam Harrington) arrived at Carly’s (Laura Wright) office with champagne, the two clinked their glasses to “taking down the bad guys.” Unbeknownst to John, Carly was preparing her move to take him down for holding her RICO violations over Jason’s (Steve Burton, who recently made a special podcast appearance) head.

John revealed to her his plans to leave Port Charles, and Carly offered him good luck on whatever happens next. When John told her he feels lucky is finally on his side, as soon as he left her office, she whispered to herself, Not for long, you bastard.”

All For Nothing

Carly was sitting at her desk trying to contain her emotions, thinking back on Sonny’s (Maurice Benard, who recently shared kind words for a GH co-star) claims that Jason’s work for the FBI was against him, when she heard a knock on the door. She ignored the “gracious greetings” and ordered Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to shut the door.

She sprung from her seat and finally let out her rage for what John has done, picking up a letter opener and admitting she wished she had stabbed him. But when she told Spinelli her plan was to go to John and tell her to arrest him, Spinelli stepped in front of her.

While Carly’s goal was to get Jason out from under the FBI, Spinelli reminded her that Donna (Scarlett Spears) could lose her mother if she turned herself in, and Jason’s sacrifice over the last two years will have all been for nothing. While she agreed not to turn herself in, she did promise to find a way to not let the FBI keep using her as leverage.
