Trouble Brewing For Cody And Brad On General Hospital

Just when you think you’re out, they pull you back in…Cody and Brad are headed for trouble if they get involved with Selina again on General Hospital.

Blood Tests And Baby Switching

Both Cody (Josh Kelly) and Brad (Perry Shen) had terrible instincts. They always got themselves into hot water, even if they didn’t intend to.

Brad was a hot mess. He had a talent for switching blood test results but always got caught. Then there was the awful baby switching when he claimed Wiley (Viron Weaver) was his own after the baby he and Lucas (Van Hansis) adopted tragically died. Did he really think he could get away with that? When Lucas found out, he divorced him. He was in a dark place when his bestie Britt was then killed.

But Brad finally bounced back. He was on a good path when he got his job back at GH. Things even looked slightly possible for a reconciliation with his ex. Even Portia (Brook Kerr) was almost accepting him. Then along came Cody.

Liar Liar Pants On Fire

Cody had a habit of lying and gambling. When he came to Port Charles, he told one lie after another. His main goal was to get his hands on the Ice Princess necklace, and he pretended to like Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) to do it. Unfortunately for him, when he realized he did care about her, she was done with him.

He also had a gambling problem and got himself in big trouble working for Selina (Lydia Look). He had a chance at a family when he realized Mac (John J. York) was his dad, but he blew it when he lied about it. His feelings for Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) finally straightened him out, and he became a hero. The Scorpios forgave him for lying and accepted him as one of their own. He was on a good roll until he discovered the woman he fell for was his cousin. Now, he may be moving backward.

Looking For Trouble

These two guys were doing well, but Cody is still a bit lost over losing Sasha. He got $50,000 for keeping quiet about Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Nina (Cynthia Watros), and that’s where his trouble begins.

He wants to buy the Serenity Estate, but the money he has is not nearly enough. His friend Tracy (Jane Elliot) advised him to invest and let it grow slowly, but Cody wants a fast return. His solution was to bet on the PCU game through Selina. It was probably not the smartest move. Plus, he dragged Brad into dealing with his aunt after he finally got away from her.

Well, Cody lost his money and will probably bet more to get it back. The last thing he needs is to owe Selina. Cody will be on a downward spiral, and Brad may be along for the ride.
