Laura and Dante had an unexpected visit.
While we’re nearing the return of Lucky on General Hospital, the July 19, 2024 episode saw the notable return of a different Spencer.
The episode began with Laura (Genie Francis, who Jackson says taught him a lot about acting) seated by an unseen Lulu’s bedside, still in her coma as Laura updated her on Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) and Rocco (Finn Francis Carr). “I’ve got a lot of reasons to need my thoughtful, sweet, perceptive daughter,” Laura told her just as Dante (Dominic Zamprogna, who recently looked back on his 15 years as Dante) walked in.
Dante joined Laura at his ex-wife’s bedside and told Laura all the things Lulu told him about being raised by her, noting Lulu was such a good mom because of Laura’s example.
With Jonathan Jackson set to reprise his beloved role of Lucky this summer, could his return coincide with Lulu waking up from her coma? This is the first time in the last year Lulu has been visited on-screen, the last time being in July 2023 when Lulu was moved from a facility to GH.
Laura told her comatose daughter she could use her, especially during this time when she’s got one son off traveling and the other in prison. Lucky’s homecoming serves as the perfect opportunity for his sister to wake up and be reunited with everyone.
