Britt and Brad Together Again?
Brad (Parry Shen) found himself in the middle of all kinds of drama this year, from blackmailing Portia (Brook Kerr) after learning she changed Heather’s (Alley Mills) test results to desperately trying to rekindle his relationship with Lucas (Van Hansis) to ignoring his Aunt Selina’s (Lydia Look) coercing to rejoin the family mob business. But when Drew (Cameron Mathison) paid him off in exchange for keeping Portia’s secret, he resigned from GH, left Port Charles, and hasn’t been heard from since.
But there are only a handful of things that could make Brad come home, and his best friend being alive is certainly one of them. Sure, he might be angry at first that she faked her death and kept the truth from him, but their bond goes much deeper than deceit.
During the November 3 episode, aside from the Quartermaine chaos of who Monica (the late Leslie Charleson) truly left the house to, there were rumblings of a return in Port Charles’ future. First, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) reminded a pregnant Portia that Brad knows her secret and could blow things up for her at any time. Then, when Elizabeth later ran into Britt, she asked if she’d heard from her best friend, to which Britt assured her that if Brad knows she’s alive, he hasn’t cared to reach out.
But Britt being alive isn’t the only reason to come home. Plenty of more drama could be in store for Brad now that Portia may be about to become a suspect in Drew’s shooting. He knows about her situation with Drew, and could make or break her case. Plus, if Brad finds out how close Lucas has gotten to Marco (Adrian Anchondo), it could stir up another round of love triangle trouble.
