After last week’s battle of the brothers on General Hospital, Steve Burton has given his take on the big fight scene with co-star Cameron Mathison.
A Good Fight
On the latest episode of Daily Drama titled “Feeling Punchy,” after discussing the big Mike Tyson and Jake Paul fight, Bradford Anderson had a question for his co-star. “Speaking of fights, evidently this week, you punch out Drew (Mathison, who you can catch on TV this weekend).”
After Burton referred to the fight as “a good one,” he explained to Anderson why his character did what he did, and Anderson had a good question. “How come Michael (Chad Duell) doesn’t punch him out? How come he sends you?”
“He doesn’t send me,” Burton revealed. “He shows me the baby monitor, and then I go punch Drew,” he explained, referring to the situation at “Nannygate” after Michael caught Drew and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) sleeping together on the nanny cam.
“He goes, ‘Oh, hey, what’s going on?’ and comes over to me and I punch him without a word,” Burton remembered of the scenes with Mathison. “It’s a fight, dude. It’s a good fight.”
Slimy Drew
The GH co-stars and Daily Drama co-hosts also delved into Drew’s latest storyline. “Drew’s a little slimy nowadays,” Burton noted of his on-screen brother.

“Poor Cameron, man,” Burton said. “He’s like, ‘Dant, dude, I’m just not good right now.'” Anderson remarked about their co-star, “He’s got a good attitude about doing unlikeable things,” referring to Drew’s affair with Willow.
