Steve Burton Confirms His First GH Airdate As Jason

It’s been more than two years since Jason Morgan was buried beneath the rubble in the tunnels of Cassadine Island and fans have been clamoring for Steve Burton’s General Hospital return ever since. Now, we finally know when we will see him again.

Jason Morgan Makes His Comeback

After GH posted an official pic of Burton back on set at Sonny’s boxing gym, Burton revealed his first airdate as Jason. On March 4, Stone Cold will be back on the PC scene and ready to rumble. Will he be rumbling in the boxing gym or somewhere else? That remains to be seen, but Burton is happy to be back either way.

The actor posted a video on The Daily Drama YouTube channel excited about the plot we are about to see in a little less than a month.

“I got to talk to the head writers,” Burton said. “This story is going to be sick. It’s gonna be awesome. So, make sure you keep watching because the pieces of the puzzle are gonna be fit for when I return. And that return date, that air date, it is March 4th. Stay tuned. Keep watching. And, if you stopped, get back because it’s gonna be awesome.”

After a shooting on Sonny’s Puerto Rican island last week, fans began speculating that a brainwashed Jason might have been behind it. After all, he would have been the only person who knew Sonny’s security system inside and out.

While that theory is just one of many, we’ll have to wait until March 4 to see if it’s true — and to see which woman from his past Jason ends up with.
