General Hospital’s Steve Burton & Bradford Anderson’s Christmas Gift To Fans

General Hospital stars Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson delighted fans of their podcast with an unexpected gift on Christmas.

Daily Drama, hosted by Burton (Jason) and Anderson (Spinelli), typically posts new episodes every Wednesday. But with Christmas falling on a Wednesday this year, it was easy to assume the podcast would take a holiday break. In the past, the duo have celebrated the holidays together in fun ways, including their 2020 “Last Christmas” duet.

However, the GH stars surprised fans by uploading a short but sweet new episode, recorded backstage at one of their holiday shows. “This is the Christmas episode,” Anderson announced, sitting beside Burton, both donning their festive jackets. “This will go up on YouTube, probably Christmas Day.”

All About Family

After touching on the success of their latest holiday tour, the two spent the rest of the 11-and-a-half-minute episode reflecting on GH’s traditions. “In the show, we talk about holiday traditions and we talk about holiday traditions on the show,” Anderson teased about their holiday show. “But one question that I had was, what do you think has been our characters’ favorite holiday?”

Burton had an intricate answer to his co-star’s question. “When I was Jason Quartermaine, being a part of that family during the holidays, just as the character but also as the actor, we just had a blast,” he remembered. “I remember I had some fun Christmases with Sam (ex-Kelly Monaco),” Burton continued, prompting another question from Anderson.

“I think we spent some Christmases together,” Anderson wondered, referring to when Jason and Spinelli lived in the penthouse together. “The fact that Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Spinelli have a house full of kids…I think for Spinelli, I think spending a holiday in that house with that family – being a true part of that family – I think this would be his favorite year.”
