Sonny Has A New Target On July 26 General Hospital

Sonny has had plenty of targets recently on General Hospital, but the July 26, 2024 left him with one that was inevitable.

The Truth Is Out

After Carly (Laura Wright) confessed to running Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) organization and John (Adam Harrington) arrested her, Sonny arrived at the station to find out what was going on with the mother of his children. Despite previously keeping Jason’s (Steve Burton) secret, Carly finally revealed all to Sonny.

She explained that when Sonny was presumed dead, she took over his organization, and the FBI wound up with a recording of her at a meeting with the five families. But that wasn’t all; Carly also revealed that John had been holding the recording over Jason as leverage all these years, which forced Jason to work as an informant.

Out For Revenge

Sonny was outraged and left the PCPD on a rampage for revenge against the FBI agent. When Dante (Dominic Zamprogna, who recently reflected on 15 years as Dante) walked into the interrogation room, a frantic Carly told him he needed to find his father. Meanwhile, Sonny ordered Brick (Stephen A. Smith) to find John while he retrieved his gun, practicing his aim.

John being Sonny’s latest target comes after he’s made enemies with a slew of people, including taking Ava (Maura West) to court in a custody battle, beating Dex (Evan Hofer) at Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) wedding, and lashing out at Michael (Chad Duell) for not testifying for him.
