Someone Just Discovered Sonny’s Meds Mixup On General Hospital…And They’re Keeping It A Secret

Everything going on with Sonny’s behavior on General Hospital has made sense ever since it was revealed that his bipolar medication had been switched out for placebos at the hands of Pikeman. But now someone else has found out about the meds mixup, and they’re keeping it a secret.

Learning The Lab Results

While at breakfast with Trina (Tabyana Ali), Ava (Maura West) got a call from Applied Analytical Labs. She declined it at first, but when Trina went to pay the bill, she finally called them back.

The person on the other line said they completed the analysis of the capsules she had sent, presumably of Sonny’s (Maurice Benard, who recently got candid with fans about his real-life mental health struggles) medication as she lied saying they were her husband’s pills. “The dosage should be 50 milligrams,” the person continued before revealing the sample only contained closer to 10 milligrams. “Your husband is getting less than a quarter of his prescribed dosage.”

Choosy With Secrets

As she said goodbye to Trina, Ava not only learned that Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Dex (Evan Hofer) had broken up, but that Dex was joining the PCPD. “Nobody could be more shocked than Joss,” Trina said as she walked away, to which Ava responded to herself, “I can think of somebody who will be.”

When she got home to Sonny’s penthouse, she asked him if he had taken his medication yet that morning and he realized he still needed to. Ava watched from the bathroom doorway as he took a pill, and Sonny assured her that out of everybody on the planet, she was the only person he would let into his daily routine.

Things quickly took a turn in their friendly conversation when Ava asked him not to kill the messenger and told him that Dex was becoming a cop.
