Jerry Jacks, played by Sebastian Roché, will forever be known to General Hospital fans as the man responsible for the death of beloved Dr. Alan Quartermaine (the late Stuart Damon). Now, Roché is playing, ironically, a doctor in a new Netflix series, Queen of Tears.
Deadline reports that Roché will bring to life the character of Dr. Braun, a German doctor who has an “interesting relationship” with two lead characters in Queen of Tears.
The story follows the character of Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won), a third-generation heiress to Queens Group, described as “the queen of department stories.” She has been wed for three years to Baek Hyeon-u (Kim Soo-hyn). The couple faces a marital crisis and, along the way, discovers a miraculous new beginning that will rewrite their love story.
Queen of Tears was set for a late 2023 release, but now, the series is set to debut on Saturday, March 9, 2024, on Netflix.
