It’s no secret Michael (Rory Gibson) has had a life-changing year, and for the worse. He kicked off 2025 by being caught in a fire bomb at his father’s penthouse and left to recover from third degree burns, after already navigating his cheating wife and a baby on the way. Now, as he grieves his great-grandmother and the house he believed he would inherit, it’s been enough to turn anyone to the dark side.
As if that’s not enough, Michael is also a major suspect in Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting, and his determination to hold his alibi hasn’t helped his case. Just as Anna (Finola Hughes) and Chase (Josh Swickard) returned to the Quartermaine Mansion with a corrected warrant to search the property, Michael had disappeared.
After taking a call at the same moment Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) got word the custody hearing wouldn’t resume until January, Michael arrived at the last place anyone expected: Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) house. She had just finished talking to Carly (Laura Wright) about her death threat against Drew and the way Carly would do anything to protect her son. Now, Michael arrived at Elizabeth’s door, glancing around the premises outside before walking in.
