Rocco Goes To Jail
Everyone was up bright and early for Rocco’s (Finn Carr) arraignment in the morning. While Sonny (Maurice Benard) tried reassuring Lulu (Alexa Havins), Laura (Genie Francis) was determined to stay by her grandson’s side no matter what it did to her mayoral campaign. All the while, Rocco and Gio (Giovanni Mazza) know the truth about their ultimate plan for Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) lab, but Rocco made his brother promise not to turn himself in.
When Rocco arrived to the courthouse and met with his new lawyer, Ric (Rick Hearst), he was happily surprised to see the turnout on his side of the courtroom; along with his parents and grandparents were also Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and Nathan (Ryan Paevey).
But at the same time, ADA Turner (Nazneen Contractor) was being held up at the police station when Dalton arrived, needing to give her all the “facts” about what Rocco did to his lab. By the time court was in session, ADA Turner had no choice but to pursue new charges against Rocco after Dalton claimed he trashed the lab.
After Rocco was sentenced to jail as he awaits trial, with a bail hearing two days away, it was Laura and Sonny who knew something wasn’t right. Laura was sure Dalton would have mentioned Rocco trashing his lab, while Sonny only looked over at Justine in disgust.
