Evil Martin Rises
Martin (Michael E. Knight) has always been an upstanding citizen and lawyer, who also acted as Laura’s (Genie Francis) favorite brother. He may have had three divorces, but he’s always proven to be a good guy…until now.
Many have suspected that Martin was the person behind Monica’s (the late Leslie Charleson) shocking will, and today, he finally confirmed it when he confronted Ronnie (Erika Slezak) about their secret plan. Ronnie, on the other hand, was pretty innocent in all of it, only going along with Martin’s grand scheme to live in the Q Mansion and get to know her estranged sister’s family.
But things became so much worse when Martin told Ronnie the next step: sell the house to Drew (Cameron Mathison). That left everyone’s jaws dropped, especially Ronnie’s. Despite her attempt to fight Martin on it, he reminded her that if she backed out now, she would be admitting to fraud. So, when The Q’s arrived to try and help Tracy (Jane Elliot) smooth things over with Ronnie, she had no choice but to announce to them that she had decided to sell the house they all held dear.
Curtis Learns The Truth
As Curtis (Donnell Turner) pushed for a reunion between him and Jordan (Tanisha Harper), she was forced to reveal what she learned about his soon-to-be ex-wife: Portia (Brook Kerr) is pregnant, and the baby must be his…or so they think.
Curtis was left reeling over the information, and ultimately decided he needed to find Portia to find out what she planned on doing about this pregnancy. Unbeknownst to everyone except Portia, the true baby daddy may very well be her new, secret boyfriend, Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson), who she was spending the night at the cabin with.
