- Valentin stayed to comfort Carly.
Carly and Joss Come Clean
After Joss (Eden McCoy) caught Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) in her mother’s attic and prepared to take him in, Carly (Laura Wright) walked in to Joss pointing a gun her way. Carly’s lack of shock led Joss to realize that her mother has been helping Valentin, and the scene in front of her gave Carly no choice but to admit she knows Joss is a WSB agent.

Joss’ entire world came crumbling down in front of her as her secret was exposed and she found her mother in the middle of a dangerous list of crimes. But now that the secret was out, Carly got her daughter to reveal all. She told her mother about killing Cyrus (Jeff Kober), Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) role in recruiting her, and part of the job being to keep it all under wraps.
Joss Threatens Carly
As the mother-daughter shouting match continued in the kitchen, Valentin was still in the attic, grabbing his go bag and ready to make his escape before Joss could catch him.
Down in the kitchen, Carly tried reasoning with her daughter, until Joss’ true motives came out. “I want to take down Sonny and everyone else like him, mercifully and finally!” That statement stilled the scene in the kitchen, prompting Carly’s disbelief that it was all about Sonny (Maurice Benard).
After Joss went on a rant about who Sonny truly is, she ended the fight with a threat: Carly had 24 hours to turn Valentin in, or Joss would. But the real surprise came when a devastated Carly felt a hand on her arm and realized it was Valentin, who hadn’t taken off when he had the chance.
While Carly and Valentin are left picking up the pieces of their foiled plan, General Hospital spoilers for March 6 tease that Joss will confront Jason (Steve Burton) about his betrayal. Like mother, like daughter.
