Time was ticking for Britt as she battled an ankle bomb at the Five Poppies during the September 9, 2025 episode of General Hospital. Here’s how Jason came to the rescue, and her unexpected admission to her former lover.
Britt’s Big Confession
While Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) tried fighting off Pascal’s ankle bomb, Jason (Steve Burton) helped save Joss (Eden McCoy) and Vaughn (Bryce Durfee). When Jason and Joss came face-to-face, he assured her they needed to discuss things, but that he had to go back to Britt.
When he found his ex, she had 20 minutes to spare until she blew to pieces, but in true Jason fashion, he managed to defuse the bomb with 13 minutes remaining. Once the four got past the guards, Pascal sneaked off just as Jason, Britt, Joss, and Vaughn got out and the resort exploded.
While Joss proudly completed her first op, Jason kept Britt protected from the flames and smoke. But it was when the two finally stood that Britt made an admission to Jason.
“There’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you,” she began, capturing Jason’s attention. “I really don’t like your tattoos.”
This final line of the episode perfectly encaptures Jason and Britt’s relationship, full of banter and jokes with underlying endearment for one another.
General Hospital spoilers for September 10 tease Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) once again turning to Chase (Josh Swickard) during this Drew (Cameron Mathison) mess, but before we know, the crew at the Five Poppies will be back in Port Charles.
