Not only did he get Rocco (Finn Carr) sent to jail after falsely claiming the teen trashed his lab, but he also put the PCPD’s attention on the lab that’s being used for Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project.
After discussing the ongoing issue with Marco (Adrian Anchondo), Sidwell (Carlo Rota) noted that if Dalton goes away, so do their problems. But Sidwell wasn’t the only one to make a similar remark.
Sonny (Maurice Benard) spent the afternoon reassuring Laura (Genie Francis) that her slapping Dalton may not be the end of her mayoral career after all. The people of Port Charles commended her strength, and that may get her the votes she needs to remain mayor. Then, in a moment only Sonny could get away with, he told Laura that if Dalton doesn’t change his story about their grandson, someone may need to change it for him.
While Port Charles’ most prominent mobsters were making subtle threats to the professor, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was reluctantly teaming up with Ric (Rick Hearst) to blow up Dalton’s claims. They realized that Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) coming forward would prove that Dalton made a false statement and get Rocco’s case thrown out, ending this teen scene nightmare.
All these threats to Dalton seem to be leading up to a major November sweeps moment in Port Charles. With the way Laura is seen screaming in the GH weekly preview, we can only assume she winds up in the middle of Dalton’s takedown. Or worse, his murder.
