This ultimatum may seem harder, but it may be exactly what Chase needs to reevaluate his choices after the February 24, 2026 episode of General Hospital.
Key Takeaways
- The PCPD is narrowing in on Chase.
- Brook Lynn is making Chase choose between the case and their adoption.
- Chase’s choice may not matter if Michael seeks revenge.
Brook Lynn’s Ultimatum
Chase (Josh Swickard) thought he was doing the right thing. He still does. But the moment Michael (Rory Gibson) stormed into the Q kitchen after being interrogated at the PCPD, all hell broke loose.
Michael and Chase’s second fist fight ended with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) coming between them, and while Dante assured Michael he believes he’s innocent, Brook Lynn was left to pick up the pieces of whatever Chase had done this time. Chase swore he didn’t plant the key on Michael’s keyring, and that much is true, but he couldn’t deny leading the PCPD in Michael’s direction.
All this comes on the same day that he and Brook Lynn revisited their plans to adopt a child, and Chase’s latest stunt put thing into perspective for BLQ. “Keep pursuing justice, or move forward with adopting our child…you can’t have both.”

General Hospital spoilers for February 25 tease that Chase has a difficult choice to make. Even after Brook Lynn begged him to drop the investigation into Michael, he’s still unsure whether he should choose justice for Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) over the adoption. All the while, he has no idea what Willow is truly capable of.
In the end, Chase may not get a happy ending either way. If he pursues the investigation, all hopes of adopting are over, according to Brook Lynn. But if he chooses her and their adoptive child, there’s no stopping Michael from getting revenge on his former friend by using his Quartermaine power and ensuring the adoption doesn’t happen.
