Molly and Cody Together Again
Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and Cody (Josh Kelly) have become the latest slow burn couple in Port Charles. They’ve had on-again, off-again moments of flirting and courtship, but things always ended with one of them assuming the other wasn’t interested.
The latest bump in the road happened on Thanksgiving when Cody asked Molly to meet him at the Brown Dog, but when she arrived, she walked in on him kissing Britt (Kelly Thiebaud). That, of course, was an entire misunderstanding thanks to Britt’s drunken decision, but it left Molly thinking Cody wasn’t truly interested in her.
So, on Christmas Eve when Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) and Jason (Steve Burton) joined The Davises in decorating the tree and Jason assured Molly that what she witnessed on Thanksgiving was not what it looked like, Molly began questioning her decision to give up on Cody. And when Danny adorably let Molly in on how dumb guys truly are, she realized it was time to officially make a move.
At the same time, Cody confided in Tracy (Jane Elliot) about his feelings for Molly, prompting him to go find her just as Molly left to find him. And when she arrived at the stables and only found Outback, she wondered if she’d missed her chance until Cody appeared and she planted a kiss on him under the snowfall.
It was yet another perfect, Christmas, Hallmark-esque moment in Port Charles, which can only mean doom is on the way. Considering Cody’s bad influence Brad (Parry Shen) is back in town, things could only lead to more trouble for the since-redeemed Cody.
