Yikes. Kristina fell hook, line, and sinker for Ric’s dirty play in the Thursday, October 17 episode of General Hospital. Consider the trap he set the preview of what he’s planning for the courtroom.
Successful Scheme
What transpired in the middle of the restaurant between Ric (Rick Hearst), Ava (Maura West), and Kristina (Kate Mansi) is almost exactly what happened in Ava’s hotel room.
Kristina approached Ava and Ric’s table and immediately started on the offense. By yelling, she clearly blamed Ava for everything that went down that awful night. And while she said things like “my baby” and “Adela,” Ric calmly and coolly corrected Kristina’s version of the truth.
He said her name was “Irene” and that the baby was TJ (Tajh Bellow) and Molly’s (Kristen Vaganos). It didn’t take a long time before Kristina got volatile, to the point that she hit a glass out of Ric’s hand and caused his lip to bleed. In front of all the customers, Kristina looked like the unhinged one.

Meanwhile, Ava simply tried to relate to Kristina’s pain. It was all very brilliant. She saw what Ric had instigated and gave her best concerned human act. If Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) hadn’t walked in and put a halt to the public altercation, who knows what would have happened?
And this is why Ava won’t see another day behind bars. Ric can call any of the restaurantgoers who witnessed Kristina lose her cool to the stand. He can also repeat this whole scenario on the stand. This is why Kristina gets coddled by everyone: This version of her thinks she knows what’s best, and she won’t stop even when presented with an opposing yet viable reason why she should.

We can imagine what Molly will say when she finds out about this madness. Kristina didn’t have to go near Ava, but she wanted to, and that’s how she found herself in the middle of a scene she had no business being in. At this point, the trial needs to happen sooner rather than later. But first, we have to find out what Heather’s (Alley Mills) fate will be.
Not to mention Sam’s (Kelly Monaco), considering she and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) were all happy, happy, joy, joy on Thursday. Except for Scout (Cosette Abinante), everybody was excited that she’d have the opportunity to help Lulu (Alexa Havins). It wasn’t sad at all. We weren’t thinking about any sort of possible disaster waiting to happen when Sam goes into surgery. (Of course, we were).
